Nail Prep
1. Before use ensure wash and dry hands to ensure nails are clean and free of oils.
2. Gently push back cuticles
3. Use a nail file or emery board to shape the front tip or free edge of the natural nail.
4. Lightly buff the top of the nail to remove shine.
Colour selection and mixing
1. Open up your Paint The Rainbow box to reveal your kit, then scan the QR code with your phone camera and follow the link to reveal the colour library.
2. Select the shade you want to paint, then follow the instructions to select the base shades and number of pumps.
3. Twist the cap to select the amount of polish, then pump the correct amount of the shades into the palette.
4. Mix it up with the included mixing palette and mixing brush.
5. Top Tip! Make sure your mixed gel colour is away from the lamp at all times when curing, otherwise it could cure on the palette.
Base Coat
1. After prepping the nails, apply a thin coat of Gel Base Coat from the cuticles to the free edge and seal the edge of each nail.
2. If you apply to the cuticle or surrounding skin area, wipe off immediately before curing.
3. Place fingers under LED or UV lamp and cure for 60 seconds. The Gel Base Coat will remain slightly tacky.
Colour application
1. Paint a thin layer of the newly mixed colour onto your nails from the cuticles to the free edge, and seal the edge of each nail.
2. If you apply to the cuticle or surrounding skin area, wipe off immediately before curing.
3. Place fingers under the LED or UV lamp and cure for 60 seconds. Colour will be somewhat translucent after 1st coat.
4. Repeat this step for 2-3 coats depending on opacity preference.
Top Coat
1. Apply a thin coat of Gel Top Coat from the cuticles to the free-edge and seal the edge of each nail.
2. If you apply to the cuticle or surrounding skin area, wipe off immediately before curing.
3. Place fingers under the LED or UV lamp and cure for 60 seconds.
4. No need to wipe top coat. Top coat will not be tacky.
Aftercare
1. Clean brush and palette with nail polish remover/ pour nail polish remover on cotton pad and whirl brush around to remove unwanted gel polish.
2. Use Nails.INC cuticle oil to hydrate cuticles.
Removal
1. When you’re ready to remove your gel manicure, break the top coat seal by gently buffing the surface of your nails with a nail file or emery board.
2. Pour out a small bowl of acetone and soak the gel manicure in the bowl for 10-15 minutes.
3. Gently scrape/ buff away any remaining gel. Be careful not to press hard onto the nail.
4. Revitalize nails with Nails.INC Superfood Repair Oil.
