LESS MEAN, MORE CLEAN

Now more than ever, it’s super important that we’re all on our A game when it comes to keeping clean, and regularly washing hands.

Meet The Founder

We know how some sanitising gels can dry out your skin, and that’s why our Palms Together collection is a more moisturising, sanitising formula that has all the anti-bacterial action, but is skin-friendly too.

Or how about a sweet-smelling spritz? Our Palms Together hand sanitiser sprays are available in coconut and sea breeze, formulated with 73% alcohol and enriched with soothing and moisturising aloe vera extract to clean, protect and hydrate hands without the need to rinse. The quick-drying and pH balancing spray is perfectly and conveniently handbag sized, so you can spritz and sanitise on the go.

To show you just how important it really is, we spoke to an industry expert. George Keates is a NHS intensive care nurse, and we have his top tips for keeping digits away from the dirt: Why is hand sanitiser so good for keeping clean? Hand sanitisers remove potentially harmful bacteria. They also stop hands being a point of transmission between two people. Especially as an option if there is no soap and water nearby. How often should we be using hand sanitiser? Hand sanitiser use has no set frequency and is dependent on the person's actions throughout the day and their social contact. So basically when you're in close contact with people, whether that's strangers, friends or family, then sanitise before and after. What’s the best way to wash hands and use sanitiser? Hand sanitiser is great to use as a supplement to hand washing with soap and water. That's always the best place to start, and then you can sanitise when a sink isn't nearby. Washing with soap and water will wash the bacteria away and therefore remove more from the hand completely. But of course, it's important to keep a bottle close by when you're out and about. What’s the best advice you can give to stay clean and safe in these uncertain times? Practice regular hand washing before and after close social situations where water droplet spread may be an issue. Most importantly, practice social distancing and listen to government advice.
