Phone us: 020 7529 2340
E-mail us: firstname.lastname@example.org
Write to us: Nails inc Ltd, Customer Services, 3rd Floor, 19-23 Grosvenor Hill, London, W1K 3QD. When contacting us, please remember to quote your name and contact details.
WE MAY COLLECT THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
Where you visit one of our Nail Bars and purchase services from us (such as our Signature Manicure or Speedy Gel Pedicure) we will collect information about any medical conditions you have which could affect the services we provide (for example, for health and safety reasons we cannot provide you with some services if you have a particular medical condition). We recognise that this data is particularly sensitive and will only process this information with your explicit consent.
HOW WE COLLECT DATA:
We collect personal data in a variety of ways including directly from you when you: register to become a VIP member, place an order, visit one of our Nail Bars, sign up for our newsletter emails, enter prize draws/competitions or take part in a survey.
We may also collect personal data about you when you access and browse this website or any Nails inc / third party microsites, including when you sign up to receive nails inc newsletters or become a member of the VIP scheme.
We may also collect some or all of this personal data from third parties who have your consent to pass your details to us. For example, we process personal data from third parties to help inform and personalise digital marketing activity such as PPC search engine marketing via the likes of Google and Bing; Affiliate activity via an affiliate program held and managed through Acquire and Affiliate Window and their Partners; Social Media Platforms such as Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram & Photoslurp and Twitter; and Email Marketing and CRM via Emarsys.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE GATHER AND WHAT IS OUR JUSTIFICATION FOR DOING SO?
We use your personal data for a variety of purposes related to the products and services we provide. From a legal perspective there are various reasons for doing so and we have set out an explanation of this below:
When you make purchases from the website (including purchases made over the phone):
We use your personal data to provide you with the information, products and services that you request or purchase from us (i.e. to complete certain tasks, processes or orders on our website and take payment online (where applicable) and deliver your products or services), and to communicate with you regarding those products and services that you purchase from us and respond to your questions and comments.
We use your data in this way either because we have a contract with you (for example, if you purchased products from our website) or because it is in our legitimate interests to do so (for example, it is in our interests to measure customer satisfaction and 'troubleshoot' customer issues) but we will always ensure that your rights are protected.
When you visit and purchase services from one of our Nail Bars:
We will ask you to fill out an appointment card when you purchase any of the services at our Nail Bars. This will include information about any medical conditions you have which may affect our ability to provide you with the services you are requesting. We use your data in this way to ensure that we take care of our customers' health and wellbeing and we will always ask you for your explicit consent to process this personal data. We may also send you SMS reminders about appointments or deliveries if you have given us your phone number for this purpose.
When you become a VIP member:
We will use the personal data we collect to offer the services, gifts and special promotions we promise to offer to our exclusive VIP members. This includes using your date of birth (where you have opted to provide it) so we know when to send you your birthday gift, storing your delivery address to make purchasing from us easier and using your email address to send our seasonal promotions and exclusive tips and tricks.
We use your data in this way either because we have a contract with you to provide you with these services as a VIP member or because it is in our legitimate interests to do so (for example, we want our VIP customers to receive the very best promotions and special offers).
When you interact with us on Social Media
When you engage with us on social media such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram we will use your personal data (such as your username) to respond to you. Where you have tagged us in a tweet our response to you will be visible on our twitter feed (on the twitter website and on our own website). It is in our legitimate interests to do this as we love to engage with our customers and want to offer the very best customer service.
For advertising and marketing purposes, including to measure how effective our marketing is:
Where you have given your consent to do so, we will send you our regular newsletter which informs you about any new services and special offers or promotions that may be of interest to you via email or by mobile phone. If you have registered to receive information from us, you can withdraw your consent by using the 'unsubscribe' links at the bottom of the promotional emails we send you or by responding to the text messages as indicated. Alternatively, contact customer service on 020 7529 2340, or via email email@example.com, or by post Customer Service, Nails inc, 19-23 Grosvenor Hill, London, W1K 3QD.
We may also periodically send other promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting based on previous products or services you have purchased from us and the way that you use our website. If you no longer wish to receive these messages you can opt-out by using the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of the emails or messages we send you. Alternatively, contact customer service on 020 7529 2340, or via email firstname.lastname@example.org, or by post Customer Service, Nails inc, 19-23 Grosvenor Hill, London, W1K 3QD.
We may also use personal data collected from you (including using cookies and other similar technology) to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and our advertising (i.e. so that we can tell what interests our customers and what doesn't). We may also contact you by email, phone or mail for market research purposes and we may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.
We rely on your consent, or, where appropriate, our legitimate interests to market our products and services, to contact you directly about the products and services on offer on our website. In other scenarios (for example, measuring the effectiveness of our marketing or carrying out market research), we will rely on our legitimate interests to make sure that our marketing and advertising is effective and interesting to our customers, always ensuring that your rights are protected.
For administrative and internal business purposes:
We may use personal data collected about the way you use and interact with our website to help us improve your browsing experience by developing and improving the design and layout of the website. We may also use personal data collected to administer our site and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes.
There are occasions where we need to use personal data to help us with our internal business purposes, such as analysing and managing our business, internal record keeping, audits, developing new products or services, enhancing our site, improving our services and products and identifying usage trends. It is in our legitimate interests as a business to use your data in this way. For example, we have a clear interest in ensuring that our site works properly and that our products and services are high quality and efficient. We will always ensure that your rights are protected.

We may also use your personal data to protect our rights or property (or the rights or property of others) and to enforce our rights and pursue available remedies.
