Want the inside scoop on all things Nails.INC? What it takes to create a new launch? We sat down with our founder Thea Green to talk all things Spring, and find out her favourite products, as well as nail trend predictions for Spring 2022.

What is the main inspiration behind the Nails.INC Spring collection? To have fun! All the pops of colour are bound to brighten up your day, plus we've got all the easy-to-use nail art at home! We wanted to give you the chance to match the sunnier, brighter weather to your mood. We’ve launched some new Spring shades – everything from lemon to lilac, as well as bringing the TikTok butterfly nail trend to your fingertips in just a few easy steps. Which is your favourite product in the range and why? I’m honestly really happy with all of the products this season, and I struggle to pick a favourite. It would be like picking a favourite child! But to spotlight one, I am a massive fan of Glow Naturale. It gives you the no make-up, make-up look on your nails with that covetable glowy glossy finish. It’s your natural nails, only better! What is your hottest colour for Insta-ready nails this season? Lilac is the new pink! I’m loving this fresh take on the perfect everyday glossy mani, and I’m really enjoying switching out pale pink for a more trend-aware lilac. You can find the shade in our Plant Power range as Alter Eco, and also in our Feeling So Fly set with Love On The Fly. We were originally inspired to work with this tone since it’s a colour that is all over Gen Z street style at the moment. If you were starting your nail journey with Nails.INC, which treatment product would you start with and why? I would start with NailKale base coat – our bestselling base coat and the UK’s bestselling base coat – it’s the superfood green smoothie for your nails! It's enriched with a cocktail of vitamins (A, C, E, F and H!), so it’s great for nails that are splitting, peeling and breaking, as well as nails of different lengths to encourage growth. What’s the best Nails.INC treatment to compliment your new Spring colours and why?Definitely our 45 Second top coat – if you wear a lot of trend colour, this will ensure you have a glossy, shiny, professional-looking manicure and you’re out the door in 45 seconds! It’s also great as a mani enhancer and reviver – you can just swipe another coat on top every few days to revive the colour and keep it looking salon-fresh.It’s also enriched with retinol, so it’s great for skincare routine and hardening your nails – and ensuring the longevity of your manicure.Which product do you predict will be the most popular?Definitely Feeling So Fly – searches for nail stickers have gone up by 23% in the last few months. Customers are looking for a way to get Instagram / TikTok-worthy nails without going to the salon. We’re definitely seeing a rise in customers doing nails themselves at home, but they still want high fashion trending nails. There’s no easier way to do nail art than this sticker set – you can wear the polishes by themselves or add butterflies for a statement mani.Where did the idea for Nails.INC nail stickers come from?Customer demand! We’ve definitely seen an increase in customers searching for easy-to-do nail art – and there has been an explosion of nail art trends on social media. Customers have learnt to do their own nails in the last 2 years, while salon have been closed, and so it’s time to take it to the next level! Feeling So Fly will make it look like you’ve spent hours in the salon, for just a few minutes of effort.What nail look will we see you wearing most this Spring?How could I choose just one! I will definitely be experimenting with our trending Plant Power shades in all kinds of popping combinations and designs, as well as going for a statement mani with Feeling So Fly.Which is your favourite new Plant Power shade?Planet Perfect – lemon yellow is a big fashion trend for Spring-Summer. So I’ll definitely be wearing a swipe of yellow across my nails to tap into the trend.There are also plenty of shades in our existing Plant Power collection that are trending – a bright white manicure is definitely becoming popular once again, as well as the classic French. You can create both of these looks with our Free Time Is Me Time shade.What are your top tips on nail trends this Spring?If you're wearing less make-up, let your manicure be part of your accessorising – have fun with pops of colour, lemon, lilac, mint etc. Be creative with ombré manicures, use our colours to create interesting French (not just the classic white) and dot manicures, as well as taking it to the next level with nail stickers. Don’t be afraid of using nail art tools for trending dot and stripe manicures, if you want to take the time and effort! I promise you, it’s worth it.
