Nails inc was founded in 1999 by young British entrepreneur Thea Green. Thea spotted a gap in the market for professional high quality manicures for women with little time to spare. nails inc provides the ultimate in affordable luxury with the trademark 15 minute manicure and a bestselling, highly sought after product range.
Nails inc has established itself as the UK’s most successful and popular nail bar chain seeing on average 10,000 customers per week. We have two luxurious standalone stores in London and we have over 50 nail bars in department stores including Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Fenwick, House of Fraser, Debenhams and John Lewis. We are at the forefront of the beauty industry and are always spotted behind the scenes at Fashion Week.
Jobs at nails inc are exciting and diverse. There are a wealth of opportunities for progression within the company with many managers beginning their career at the manicurist and nail technician level, often progressing to account manager and area manager roles.
We are looking for commitment to high standards, a passion for beauty and nails and a genuine interest in sales. We have a dedicated team who work together to develop the nails inc brand. Support is offered to all nails inc staff from their business, area and national managers, as well as from the head office team in London.
I applied to nails inc when I finished my NVQ at college. After attending an assessment centre and an interview, I got a job as a nail technician at nails inc’s flagship store, South Molton Street. After working hard for 2 years I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to apply for a position of store Manager at another nails inc store. After two successful interviews with my Area Manager and Head of Retail I was delighted to be given the job. My job as Store Manager is both exciting and challenging and includes a wide range of tasks including introducing new products to the team, creating and implementing promotions, working towards targets and delivering an excellent level of customer service. I never thought I would get to work for a brand that I am so passionate about.
